It is delivered with the Ford specified oil. Don;t sweat it. Ford is not going to use recycled conventional oil just to get your engine to fail 1 day out of warranty.
not what I asked no I'm not an idiot to think that Ford would put crap oil in it. what is the factory fill? syn or dino

Now ask when you should get it changed...
Well, hes not an idiot.
He won't run an EB on break in oil to 5 or 10k like the Government suggests you do.

On a similar topic, I'd suggest Full Synth in your Turbo EB engine.
Regardless of what Ford tries to put in it from factory, or their Service center.

Fine and dandy but I can’t do my oil/filter changes anymore ( really wish I could) and my dealer says they only have synthetic blend for the EcoBoost. When warranty runs out I’ll use full from a reputable dealer around me.

I had my first oil change done at the Dealer, at 1,000 miles.
I specified and requested the Full Synth.
The invoice shows they used full, and I was upcharged for it.
It was paid for with FordPass points.

I'll be doing the next (2nd) change after another 3 - 4k miles. Probably using an 'oil change' shop, so it still gets documented on the VIN notes. If it weren't fore being a brand new engine for 2025, I'd be a bit less concerned about the whole 'documentation of oil changes' thing..

After that 2nd change, and another ~4k miles, I think i'll get an oil analysis, and see how it looks after that, to determine the quality and change intervals from there.

Well my thoughts on that: (1) pay the up charge for full synthetic (2) if your dealer doesn’t have full synthetic then go to a different dealer or a local independent that will put the full synthetic oil of your choice in the truck (3) pick a brand of full synthetic YOU want to use and stick with it (4) your dumb dealer can’t force you to use a blend, if they try too tell them no thanks and leave

Can someone with the factory oil fill taste it to confirm? I hear the conventional tastes like real dinosaurs, the full synthetic tastes like fake dinosaurs and the blend is somewhere in-between.

The blend tastes like gummy THC dinosaurs! I think.

TY! to those that just answered my question. my 06 Vette tells me right on the oil fill cap what type and weight the factory fill was, I assumed Ford did the same. YES! I am a Synthetic Fan and know more about oil then most people, just can't figure out why I can't ask a straight question without the jerk-offs jumping in? I don't know how many dino's are in natural gas as several of the major brands use NG to make Synoil.

Someone so well-versed in oil might also know the OEM-specified oil is always listed in the Owner's Manual. The stickers and caps and whatnot on Corvettes and AMGs etc. are just a bonus. Not too many bonuses on a cheap truck... ;)
