Does your AWD Mav clunk in the rear when slowing down (braking) at around the 13 mph mark?

Please take the poll as I'm trying to figure out how widespread this clunking from the rear issue is.

MY22 does Not. So far great little truck, had Zero issues, not even a squeak or rattle. IMO if yours does seems like getting your ford dealer to inspect/resolve is in order

I'm hoping someone has had this issue and gotten it resolved before I go down the road of taking mine into the dealer.

Yea I have no idea what to make of it. The truck drives great considering. I typically turn TC off if I’m gonna be doing a lot of stop and go. From what I’ve seen some other members post it seems the dealer would just give me the run around if I take it up there so I haven’t bothered.

Mine does not. It seems to want to favor engine braking more than it should, but I've not noticed any clunking.

Well if my poll is an accurate indicator it seems as though the AWD rear clunk issue is the exception and not the rule. I see (2) yes votes and one of those Yes votes is me.

I'm in the Bronco Sport forum as well, it's been reported a clunky sound while breaking in reverse, new aftermarket pads looks like the solution and
It's been reported a clunky sound a low speed, RDU, change the RDU fluid seems the solution

Definitely odd that some do it and some don’t but doesn’t seem to have any effect on the truck aside from just making a noise. Mine drives perfectly normal, seems like 13mph when slowing is when it shifts into 1st gear. Not sure if that makes any difference or not.

It could be a bit of excessive clearance in the differential gears that show up on a downshift. Does it happen when you get on and off the gas?
