I'll add that if I had known last year that I would be moving over 500 miles and towing frequently, I'd probably have kept the F-150 a little longer and put the wear and tear on the 7 year old truck instead of a new truck. Not that it's really all that much of a burden for the Mav, but why not use the big truck for its intended purpose? I'd have certainly pulled bigger trailers with the F-150, though I did use a 6 x 12 enclosed Uhaul on my last trip north (outside of my final drive with my own utility trailer).I've towed probably a dozen times in the last 6-8 months, preparing for and executing a multi-state move. My last tow was the empty trailer though, and I sold it last night. So if I tow again, it'll be a U-haul or a friend's trailer.
The Maverick performed very well when towing BTW, executing the big climb and descent on I-75 just south of the KY/TN border. Even with a rather large load, it handled it with ease.
