We picked up the 25 Lariat hybrid in march, and ever since, my pet peeve has been the idiotic seat belt sensor, which would insist on having "OK" hit, pre-empting all other access, even though it displayed that all used seats were belted.

But a week or two ago, it suddenly stopped this, blinking off in a second or so.

Was this an OTA update? (I thought I had those turned off, so the I could wait a few days)

Mine always would go off as soon as ALL belts are buckled in the rear and front occupied seats were buckled. Not sure why the rears have to be buckled when not occupied but that seems to be the case.
I am single, no one has been in my Mav. But me. Got male inserts from Temu 5 bucks problem solved.

I hope it was an update. I’m usually driving alone and I either have to hit the button or wait to drive about a mile before it goes off. I always wear a seatbelt. I wish it would detect that and turn off.

I don't know about an update but the computer thinks all belts but drivers are latched.

Do you ever have the issue with the extenders plugged in, where you open a rear door and the system is confused as to someone being back there?

I'm guessing with it appearing all belts latched, hopefully not.

Do you still have the link to which were correct?

Tried searching Amazon and ebay - and the inaccuracy on descriptions just concerned me enough not to waste my time.
Tried to use measurements but gave up going thru pic's, which at least proved the descriptions are nonsense many times.

When dropping my wife at the airport. At curbside my wife gets out of the truck, I get out of the truck to get her bag and say goodbye. Because we're at an airport, I do not turn the truck off. I get back in the truck put my seatbelt on. Put the truck in gear drive away. The passenger side seat belt warning light continues to flash. I have to reach over and latch her seat belt for it to go out. 🤷‍♂️

Let's see if it works when we recycle an old joke.......

Seatbelt warning: Flash, Flash, Flash, (2 mins pass) Flash, Flash...
Driver: What? My Wife fell out? Thank God, I thought I had gone deaf.

If it wasn't mentioned already. Forscan is a solution to this mess.

It actually breaks the functionality of other popup menus from working properly; like 'use your last mode' prompt. (And why does this default to "No"?)
i'm not sure why there isn't already an option to default to automatically reuse your last mode built into the settings.

I Couldn't stand the obnoxious Seatbelt spam and beeping, and door ajar beeping, horn honking when exiting vehicle, and other chimes when entering the vehicle, or pressing the ignition.
Please just SHUT UP and stop with the nanny nagging! (yes, I've disabled almost every tone, beep, and honk possible at this point.)

I was also very annoyed about that stupid seatbelt screen telling me my seatbelt was buckled, sheesh. I don't mind the beeps when it isn't buckled and I'm moving so I tried to leave those on when I went in there with Forscan but the optional changes in the spreadsheet didn't seem to do that for me so I ended up just 0'ing everything out. Much nicer! If someone does figure out how to get rid of the screen but leave the audible beeping please let me know.
