2022 Maverick XL. No rear camera guidelines.

I replaced rear camera and it works but there are no guidelines showing. I also checked other simiar threads on this forum, but there were no clear directions for how to fix this for an Xl. Can anyone help me out here?

I don't have an xl so i not sure, but see if you have a setting in the instrument cluster display menu for "driver assist". Controls are on the steering wheel. Thats the only guess i have. Is the new camera the same part # as the previous camera?

I have 23xl and when I put my 48" led strip with 4way plug on it at frist I lost my guidelines. Change it out for 48" led strip with 4way plug with a blis box and they came back.
Not sure if this will help.

Yes, I went into the driver assist and

My local dealer wanted to charge $159.00 an hour to reprogram the Information /radio system and they indicated that it would take 1 to 2 hours
. All of this to put the guidelines back on my camera display when in reverse. Something not right here as the camera is only $65.00. Does anyone know what is done to reprogram the display? Can I do this myself. What is the rear camera recall about?

Just saying - Zoomed in mode has no guidelines.

Figures that would be a setting that holds thru key off/on cycle.
