i want auto-dimming SIDE mirrors..
That would be great, along with rain sensing wipers. Those are two features I miss from my Ford Fusion Titanium.

I’ve only had Ford vehicles since 1987. Mostly higher level trims but rarely the highest. Auto dim mirrors have been a standard item on all of them for at least 20 years. Imagine my surprise when my first Lariat, 2023, didn’t have it…only matched by my surprise at its missing on the 2025. Not to mention the Homelink buttons, basically a built in $10 garage door opener.

Yeah my 2012 V6 Mustang had those features standard, how could Ford justify not including those features in a more expensive vehicle in 2025? 🙄

That's another big gripe I have about the Maverick, so cheap that Ford omits that feature.

Well, to be honest, I don’t recall having a power passenger front seat in anything but the highest level of trim. That would generally be the platinum or titanium editions on certain for models.

My wife's 2016 Ford fusion SE which I believe was the lowest trim level had it it was right at 19,000 brand new.

My 2014 Chevy equinox had it it was a mid-tier 2LT, only cars I've never seen it on are the strip down models like an XL in a Ford and LT and a Chevy and GMC Don't know about Dodge I've never owned one and I wouldn't.

The problem is I have the most expensive trim of the Maverick, at those prices both front seats should be power everything. Especially since Ford hiked up the price of all trims of the Maverick recently.

Installed! Worst part was the sunroof clips firing off into the headliner. Had to stick my head up through the sunroof to find one of them.

I miss the homelink visor module like I have in my older Volvo but this will do.

Quality work man, welcome to the club! I didn't get the sunroof on my Maverick so that was one headache I didn't experience. Did you use the wiring harness kit?

Thanks, yes the kit was stellar, like a factory harness. I got the USB add on and it came with a B to C cable so that was nice. I've got all the stuff for soldering but I wouldn't have made it that nice. Totally worth it.

This is my first Ford. Always had Toyotas or Hondas and none of my vehicles came with auto-dimming mirrors so it wasn't a big deal for me.

Yeah I was being too careful trying not to get one of the clips to shoot off and it did it anyways. Wasn't that bad though and I felt the sunroof made it easier because you could look down inside it.

Very nice, me too, I can see myself eventually getting a 360 camera so I paid the extra few bucks for the female usb cable addition. I was thrilled to see the seller now does the complete assembly of the harness, that makes install so much less of a hassle.

Entry level Fords haven't come with auto-dimming mirrors for 20 years either. Some Lariat owners seem to forget that they own the highest trim package on an entry-level Ford.
