3 years parked in the sun and OW continues to pay dividends on a daily basis. If I'm in FL I'm going OW or SW. If you have a garage, desert sand is certainly a nice color or better yet, velocity blue.

Anyone decide between the two? I’m about to go to the dealership and this is my last little decision. I have to figure out what color to get.

I'd go Space White, appears to have a nice metallic sheen to it. - Metallic pains may be a pain in the you know what to color match during repair, or used to, but they look awesome up close.

Hard choice as both colors have their advantages, I think I'd go with the desert sand as there are so many white vehicles in parking lots it may get lost in the crowd. I chose Area 51 for my Maverick and love the color and is a bit easier to spot, my Cyber Orange Mach E is very easy to spot as it just pops in sunlight and still stands out under street lights.

Looks like you live in Florida, so white may keep it a bit cooler, but after working for contractors for 45 years I associate white with a work truck. My vote is for Desert Sand.

Why do so many dealers try to screw you?
Because evil men do evil things, never underestimate the other man’s greed.

You have to decide. Are you a sheep or a wolf.
If the only way you can get a RAV4 is to get screwed then buy something else.
If I could not have found an honest Ford dealer I’d not be driving a Maverick.
Stop falling in love with vehicles.
No body screws me.

I purchased space white XLT, I looked at terrain previously but was told by company with me it looked like an "old person" color....now I see it that way too. Love the space white it's timeless.

Desert Sane matches the interior seat and trim color of the Lariat.

If you are looking at an XLT or XL I'd probably consider the light blue/grey color (though Ford charges extra for it) for the same reason (matches the XL/XLT plastic trim interior).

I needed a vehicle that could tow a snowmobile trailer and still give me decent mileage as I had a fairly long commute to work. I traded in a 2001 (3.0) V6 Escape (1st year) to by the Rav (3.5) Escape needed lower control arms, rims and tires. Made no since to spend that kind of money on something with over 120,000 miles. I loved the Escape but Ford had not really done much to change the Escape and wasn't about the buy a vehicle that still looked the same. Was not in love with the Rav, hated the tire on the rear door that opened to the street side when parking on the street (hold over from right hand drive I assume). However, the Rav did everything I wanted, but was so cheeply made. Most noticably when you closed the doors. My Ford dealer (about 30 min drive) is great, trust them completely. Not so with the Toyota dealer I bought the Rav from or the Toyota dealer even closer to my house, nor the Ford dealer nearer to my house.

Desert Sand (or Terrain) for me - matches the dirt on our road.

Space White if you are delivering auto parts or a bug exterminator, otherwise Desert Sand.
