After having had 2 white vehicles I'm bored silly with white so never again

My space white looks light gray to me, especially parked next to a white vehicle.

Both colors hide dirt really well. Despite that the black plastic areas along the bottom show dirt really well, especially behind the wheels of course.

Desert Sand may not be the perfect color but neither are many of the other choices and as noted you need to see them in the flesh before you chose one. Personally I would be happy with either one. I have owned 4 Mavericks in 4 different colors and liked all of them.

Space white if you’re gonna jazz it up.
Additional black items, mud flaps, fender trim, bug deflector/hood protector, etc.

Desert sand if your gonna 3510 the thing for a rough and tumbler survivalist, work truck look.

I’ve had white vehicles but never had desert sand.

Or at least where I’ve not been.
I’d pick Desert. Flip a coin !

Good advice to compare them side-by-side because you do want to be happy even though you’re not looking at it as you’re driving. I got space white and am perfectly happy, and it is a conversation starter.

Anyone decide between the two? I’m about to go to the dealership and this is my last little decision. I have to figure out what color to get.

I chose space white and very happy with it. I ordered my lariat last September and got it in February I only had a 1 x 2 inch color patch to choose from and since it was a new color for 2025 it was a leap of faith. In bright daylight it looks white but as the sunlight starts to fade it looks like light gray and at night it looks a little darker gray, but it really looks good.

When I got mine I was planning on desert sand, but no dealers in my area had it, so I went with space white. A few weeks later and I keep getting more and more fond of the color! I love how depending on the lighting it can look white (but like a white car in the shade), light gray, or even a pale blue-gray. No regrets at all, and that's as someone who hates white cars.

Neither hit my fancy button. Had too many white in my life, so sand if they were my only options. I opt for some color that will stand out in a parking lot. Last three vehicles: a Red Edge, sort of Bronze Edge and what I called burnt Orange on my Escape. Went with the blue this time since I had never had a blue vehicle. Had I waited for the 2025's, would have gone with the green.

When I was purchasing my Rav 4 in 2005 and was trying to decide on color the salesman told me that something like 75% of the Rav's being imported were silver, then proceeded to try to sell me a silver. Why the hell would I want silver? Tried for red in sport or limited, could not find either in New England, so settled for another white vehicle. Had to decide then as the "free tires for life" program was ending that day (12/31). Did end up getting one new set of tires from them after I blew a gasket in there service area. Had it in, told them I needed new tires and inspection (their system was down). They said tires would pass. Went to another place a couple days later for inspection, failed due to tires. Will never go back to that dealer. Why do so many dealers try to screw you?
