I have a 2022 XLT hybrid carbonized grey. Im going to order a 2025 ,I’m leaning towards Desert Sand. I think last year it was Terrain.
What do folks think of that color?
Thank
I had a 1964 Buick Riviera I bought new that was Desert Beige, it's a great color, because it never looks dirty. Then again, I'm a car guy, I bought a 1963 Riviera in 2013 that was Desert Sand, the same color! it looks white, until you park next to a white car.

I ordered mine in terrain back in March(?). I like it. It does change shades depending on the lighting. Plus, you don’t see a lot of them.

My wife and I both like the desert sand color...we were going to order a '25 in that color but didn't want to wait for the new models to be produced.

Really... colors are something I normally couldn't give a cr*p about but my wife is a bit more opinionated.

We bought aa Cactus Grey one...so now we have a Maverick that is more likely to get nailed in an accident since Grey and silver cars are harder to see than brighter colors.

Never saw a Grey Cactus in the desert.

Ford color choices on these cars suck...
I have owned two blue vehicles in my long life and both of them seemed to attract impacts. The first was a full size Chevy pickup and it got T-boned by a red light runner a month after I got it, and then it got hit again on the same side while in a parking space. The second one was a little Geo Metro, luckily it was very manuerable and I managed every attempt to hit it. But I sold it to a friend when I made a move across country and warned him about people wanting to hit it, he got hit within a month of owning it. I will never own another blue vehicle....

My first Mav was a ‘22 hybrid XL in Velocity Blue. My second Mav was a ‘22 hybrid XLT in Velocity Blue. My third Mav is what I currently have and it’s a ‘22 Hybrid Lariat in Hot Pepper Red. All of the Mavs I’ve owned have been what others have ordered and got tired of playing the waiting game. My two orders were canceled by Ford. One was a ‘22 XLT in VB and the other was a ‘23 Lariat in Atlas Blue Metallic. In both cases, the dealer ran out of allocations.

I like the brighter colors as it fits my personality, plus I’m easier to see on the road. Desert Sand is a nice color and I think you’ll be pleased with it.
I stay away from white, black, silver, and dark gray. Not my choice of colors. I wasn’t impressed with Cactus Gray, Cyber Orange, nor Area 51.

Smoker's teeth.
I liked it on the build&price page but when I saw Terrain in person it was dislike at first sight.
I'm not a fan, it's way too light. it looks like a dirty white vehicle. gm and Toyota each have a tan that's much better, but I still wouldn't get that, either.

it is definitely terrain with a new name, just like a mustang with the same paint as my truck is called "fighter jet grey".

Yes, exactly. When I saw the name terrain and the website shots I was hoping for desert storm humvee tan not "I've driven my white truck through dust tan".
