Exactly. The old saying still holds true. You can't get blood from a turnip.I pay 1200 a year via state farm, i have an excellent driving record - 250 ded for comprehensive and 500 for collision and I have some reasonable (I forget exactly) medical coverage. Oh, and I'm old! lawyer billboards? all over the place - same with tv commercials. Michigan went with no fault because court cases took forever. The only thing about the ins co going after at fault persons in regular insurance states is that there are some who don't have any assets or a job so you can't really get any $ out of them.
Uninsured or underinsured.
Recently one of the forum members was hit by somebody who only had property damage coverage of $5,000. I want to say it was Progressive. It was still considered he had insurance.
