My AT3's are coming on 60K, I'll run them into fall, then look into replacements. They could probably go another 10K, but I don't wanna push them through winter.

These have easily been the best AT tires I've had, super impressed with them start to finish, so, since they are no longer available, I'm considering the AT4's. I'd like to hear from anyone running AT4's on their Maverick (or any other vehicle) for overall impressions. I understand the tire specs, you don't need to go into that, just your personal opinions on how they are performing.

Thanks! 🤠

that's smart to not push it with a low tread depth tire in winter.

what size tire are you running? I ask, because I also have AT3W (mine have only 10k on them) but I noticed that my size 235/65-17 is still available and it's cheap AF, $148.

Link? Every place I've called that show having them available, don't actually have them. I would get the AT3's again in a heartbeat if I could find them, they are such a great tire. I'm still on my OEM 235's, but would take 235's or 245's.

just the tirerack.. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tire...R7WPAT3W&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

says 'in stock' - not low stock, or 1 available, or something like that. I've never had an experience where something says 'in stock' at TR and it actually wasn't so if that's the case I'd be pretty surprised.

Not sure how I missed that in my first search! Just confirmed with TR they do indeed have inventory, manufactured in June '24, so I've already ordered them! Can't beat the price, either! Really happy to get another set! Thanks for the tip!

I don’t know if it’s true, but TFL tested them on their cheap jeep and they did horribly in snow compared to the BFG and Firestone. Their testing metrics were pretty lame though: 1 run of “mat the throttle” and 1 run of “slam on the brakes”.

I have AT4W’s (2024 Maverick), but I got ZERO snow last year. They do well in most other places. Clay mud is their Achilles heel, but that also clogs up every other AT tire too. Most shocking over-performance was in sand dunes.

I usually enjoy the content on TFL, but that winter "test" was a joke.

lol.....agree. TFL is often entertaining, but I don't put much credence into their "tests"..... 🤣

Seems like the AT4's got a lot beefier then the AT3's, probably better suited for more extreme off road situations, which is not my use case. For my use, the AT3's are perfect, and I was really happy to still find a set for replacement. Probably would have taken the AT4's as second choice, but they are overkill for my needs.

AT4Ws are very heavy. Will sap your acceleration and gas mileage even more than the lighter ATs, including the older version.

Love my 235 AT4Ws.
Mileage is the same as it was with the stock Contis and I certainly cannot tell a difference in acceleration.

In the barn, and ready to mount! I'll probably wait until November/early December, then make the swap. Really happy to have another set of these! 🤠

Have them on my 2024 Tremor in a 245. Love them. Slightly more noise than the 3s, but expected since the lugs are bigger. It was between these and BFG A/T, but these are I think 8 lbs lighter than the BFG. Have had it on dirt trails and sand dunes, and even came across a nasty silt bed in the dunes. Didn't get much snow last year, but they've done great in every scenario.

Yup, understood. I knew you had already purchased AT3’s again. Just thought I’d throw that additional information nugget in.

When I replace them, I will get a lighter tire. The mpg penalty is too high, compared to similar capability and similar sized tires.
