Wow! Great Design. Printed off the LEFT one in PETG and it snaps right in. I have to order some more black to do the right one.

Again - great design!

Prints out very nicely (PLA+). Installs easily, quickly and securely! Very nice!
I had notice the holes but did not think much about it... Not any debris
in the hole but, I don't go off road. Just a few gravel roads here and there.
I have had some PLA+ prints deform in the cab of the truck with temperatures
inside at 140 Deg F - I figure PLA+ should be fine with outside temps less than 100 Deg F.
If there is an issue I can print using PETG - and go from there!
Thank You!!!

I printed both sides in PETG today and they fit great. Nice job on these. How the heck did you model that weird shape? I've designed quite a few things from scratch but never anything with so many curves.

Thanks. I got the wheel arch models from Ford through their upfitter program.

Nice, I didn't even know that was a thing. Are you part of that program through work or can anyone get access?

You just need a business email to apply and agree to their NDA. It’s unclear how they vet access.

How long does it take for most of you to print each piece?

My Bambo A1 software says it was 5.1 hours for each side - very sturdy looks like to me...

You'd have to be damn near a fool to print and install this. It would obstruct air flow to dry out the rocker. Just rinse it out when you wash the vehicle. It really is as simple as that. 3 winters and there wasn't that much debris in there, so OP is exaggerating. And no OP, you don't need to remove anything to flush this area.

Just finished printing the left and right debris shield. The fit was perfect, slid right into place. Great job on making the printer files
I printed them on my Anycubic Kobra 3 Pro. I used PETG filament. It will not degrade in the heat or wet/snow. PETG is also very solvent resistant

This was what my ‘23 looked like when I first learned about these pockets. There was already zero airflow through that pile of mud. And I live in a city and drive 95% pavement.

35,500 miles here, Very minimal debris on mine. All I do is wash the truck monthly and weekly in the winter. Keep it washed out and only cover it temporarily if you're planning to off-road in mud. I'll call that my rocker panel moisture air vent and I don't want it covered.

Somebody should make a batch using PTEG and sell them to those of us without a 3D printer who want them. At a reasonable price, of course.

I might just buy theirs since my old Creality printer is loaded up with PETG for another car project, and thats when I found out my printer really struggles with that filament. Becomes kind of aggravating vs one click shopping.
