I saw there was a thread related to Fx4 package and oil changes... Anyone know what non-Fx4 package underside looks like for changing oil?

Found this YouTube video that gives a good overview of the truck.

just changed mine today ,the shield has to come off ,about a dozen screws with torx screws #30 ? the shield is nice and light and there are tabs on it that holds it up as you put in the screws . filter is easy to get at once the shield is off, all in all its probably better than aveage for a newer truck

Do the screws all go into another piece of plastic with those metal clips things or do some screws actually go in the frame of the vehicle. Just curious.

Yes you need to remove . There's a video on YouTube changing oil.
That's unfortunate you need to remove but not the end of the world. As long as the screws for the cover don't become a hassle overtime. I've seen some setups with underbody covers where as the screws and clips corrode over time they become a real pain.

they went in a insert not the frame so if if/when they get stripped they can be fixed

I can see myself making an access panel for oil changes instead of removing entire thing.
it is not very heavy and dont know how access panel will work but only took a minuet to remove with a power driver
