VELOCITY BLUE Maverick Photos Thread

I have always liked the OEM Bronco Outer Banks wheel, so this is my 2nd modification on my new 2025 XLT. I think the color combination and the 18-inch wheels work well. They bolt right on, but TPMS sensors need to be reprogramed.

Well, I'm back in the Velocity Blue group. Picked up my '25 Lariat Hybrid today, finally getting the color I wanted. Started the journey in November '21 ordering an Oxford White Lariat Hybrid, but changed it almost immediately to Velocity Blue. Got assigned a VIN # and a build date, only to be told that they weren't going to get to my truck and the order would be rolled to a '23 - but unfortunately Velocity Blue was no longer available. Didn't like the Atlas Blue, so settled on Alto Blue for the '23. It's not a bad color, but it's not much of an attention getter. It took 501 days to get the '23 and I've been very happy with it. But when AWD, 4K tow, SYNC4, and trailer assist options showed up on the '25 I decided to order - Velocity Blue, finally!

Just bought my new 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD. I plan to flat tow behind my FR3. Blue OX tow system on order.

I purchased after reviewing vehicles on Ford.com website for a couple of months. I had a one mandatory requirement: It had to be towable behind my motorhome. I choose Maverick Hybrid because of Price & Fuel Efficiency. I sent a email Quote Request to a local dealer on a Hybrid Maverick. I got a Text reply from the salesman that I later purchased my Maverick from. I did a test drive in a gray 2025 Maverick XLT Hybrid AWD. I liked the Maverick Hybrid but I did not like the gray color.

I went back to Ford.com web site & reviewed the local Dealer Inventory. I found a Blue 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD w/4K Towing & Black Appearance. Website said it would be available in 3–4 Weeks. I when back to the Dealership & placed a deposit on it. Two weeks later, I got a text to come in to test drive it.

May 1, 2025 I drove it home. Today, It has 301 miles on it & 150 miles to Empty. Not bad for a 13.8 Gal. Fuel Tank.

I have a Blue OX towing package & a BAKFlip MX4 TS Hard Folding Tonneau Cover w/ T-Slot Rails on order. I am ordering Nerf Bars for it today.

Dealer just called to come pick up the Title & Plates. Got to go.........

The 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid replaced our 1995 Ford Taurus LX wagon. We purchased it March 1995. (165,000 miles) It need a new muffler & cost of repair was more than the Taurus was worth.

I still have my 1990 Ranger (135,000 miles), we purchased in Jan 1990. It is in better shape than the Taurus.

I love my blue 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid. Today (May 25, 2025), It has 342 miles on it with 1/4 tank or 131 miles to Empty. Not bad for a 13.8 Gal. Fuel Tank.
