Alto Blue with legit black vehicles behind it with same sunlight.
You can see a difference but so close to black it is says Yoda.

Just finished lowering and widening Bluto. Fresh tires coming soon, but very pleased with the look of the wheels and stance…

New tires and bath. It’s been a fun past few days working in my garage, but now time for a break. This is the first vehicle that I’ve invested my own on time, tools, and hard earned money into transforming beyond the stock trim. Not sure what it is about these funny little trucks, but it all started with our other Maverick we got our son his senior year before going off to the Navy. “Nuke” is just an 2022 Iconic Silver XL AWD EB, but it hooked me (DIY’d OEM cruise control) and I knew I had to get one and build it the way I wanted it so I ordered a 2023 Alto Blue Lariat EB AWD 4K fully loaded.

Here's my Maverick at the center of Scotland during a road trip last year. That was a good way to break in the truck - 1228.8 miles total, averaged 40.2 mpg for the trip. The motorway stretches tanked the gas mileage, but ended up getting mid 50s on the curvy roads around the lochs.

Still can't believe they killed the best color. It's crazy how different it looks depending on lighting and how dirty it is. Looking extra blue today.

are those calipers painted? if so, which paint did you use?

Yes I painted them. Hemi orange in ppg DCC urethane. The have 2years plus 28k and they still look good. It's all in the prep of whatever your painting. They were new so cleaning them was easy. ppg 330 wax and grease remover. Then lots of love with a red 3m scotch Brite pad. Blow out. 1 more go with 320 fast solvent cleaner. Brushed it because their cast parts and this paint flows out like glass. You'd swear they were sprayed.
