Here is the information I found in esourcebook. I did find this under the 2024 Maverick, so it looks like the 2024 Maverick had this feature but I don't think it is in the 2025 Maverick.I looked at the online manual for 2025. The Keys and remote controls section followed by the My Key section was rewritten to show the different fobs and how to program them etc. APPARENTLY the MyKey 6 pages which made reference to admin keys in 2022 manual and immediately followed the rewritten section GOT OMITTED from the manual. my guess.
MyKey allows the programming of vehicle keys with restricted driving modes to help promote good driving habits. All but one of the keys can be activated with these restricted modes.
Programming of MyKey is done via the Message Center, Productivity Screen or center-stack screen, depending on the vehicle. Any keys that remain unprogrammed are referred to as Administrator keys or Admin keys.
Admin keys can be used to:
- Create a MyKey with certain vehicle restrictions
- Program configurable MyKey settings
- Clear all MyKey restrictions
- How many Admin keys and MyKeys are programmed to the vehicle
- The total distance the vehicle traveled with a particular MyKey
Here is a Maverick Monday video I did on the features included:
