We should qualifying for the Plug-in Hybrid Federal rebate since we have to plug the 12v battery in to keep it charged.
😃

My 2022 is on its 2nd battery, both started giving Deep Sleep messages at around 11 months.
Did you turn off all the wifi and connectivity crap in the infotainment screen?

My call to Ford corporate care is taking place tomorrow. I will post what response I get from them. Also, everyone that has experienced the deep sleep problem should report this, as the post above suggests, to the NHTSA. Having the 12v battery being killed by the lack of properly recharging is a definite safety issue, if the vehicle may become unable to start. We all need to be aggressive, in demanding a fix, since Ford has obviously missed their own deadline.
Ford customer service is less than helpful.

Wi-Fi, but not the connectivity, I actually use that. I shouldn't need to disable features of my truck to actually use it.

I use the Ford pass app for remote start at work because my fob doesn't reach. I also get notifications if my perimeter alarm gets set off.

Likewise, we use FordPass to see where our vehicle is, and to remote start. Our 2023 Lariat did not come with Remote Start on the fob, only via FordPass. We shouldn't have to disable features we paid for due to Ford's incompetence.

I agree, some people are installing trickle chargers, which is unacceptable. The features should work, the dash and door should not have rattles and rain water should not get into the HVAC system, and at 4000 miles I should not have condensate on oil fill. Were stuck with these poorly made cheaply made vehicles and I try to mitigate problems till fixes are available. They may never come. Ford and the dealer network don't care. That's why we are here looking for answers, haha.

Sadly not going to gain much from the WiFi either way.
Rarely seems like updates to the radio software that uses it - so might as well just do that check manually annually, and leave disabled otherwise.
But when left on it connects for 3-5 seconds maybe nightly to check for updates, but I only saw logs of every other night connection, but if there is no WiFi network seen it has info to use, that doesn't even happen.

Disabling the connectivity option for Fordpass to work may disable the hourly ping (1 sec) to keep the cell data connection active, in order for the remote features (unlock/start) to work.
But the truck is still going to report up it's status on park and turn-offs, even if you aren't making use of the info in Fordpass app.

If cell signal sucks where truck is normally parked at, it seems that could still be a potential issue to burn thru the battery, depending on what the system attempts to do. In which case the fuse pull would disable the modem to stop that.

Outside a malfunction in that system (and shoot, cars have malfunctions in radio modules draining their system, or video camera, ect), the expected normal drain is the same as other vehicles. 30-40 milliamp according to one poster's work order.

Sadly the issue really seems to be either the charging strategy (perhaps due to battery being in the cab), or messed up sensors giving the BMS system bad info to use with the questionable charging strategy. Combined with some pretty poor batteries that die quicker under this process.
But sounds like will eventually effect better batteries too.

But yeah - shouldn't have to expect normal features (lights on entry/exit), or extra features (remote access) to die early.
Even if they have a footnote on the remote access working because of bad cell signal, just prevent me from access - don't punish the truck!

After they put in a new battery and since then I turned off all the connectivity and wifi crap I could in the infotainment screen. A bit crazy but I wrap my key in foil when I get home too.
When I go kayaking I put my key in a Faraday bag.
