They all should be checked for at least straightness in estimate but would be added by body shop in an addendum.Surprisingly, they only had 1 as a replacement on the estimate. $950

Indeed. Maybe i'm out of touch but that price seems high. They all should be checked for at least straightness in estimate but would be added by body shop in an addendum.
oem wheels are ridiculously priced. I assume due to profit and a single source.Indeed. Maybe i'm out of touch but that price seems high.
Check MSRP (maybe 10% less) and add 25% for body shop markup! I just had my driver side rear quarter panel replaced initial INS estimate was just over $5300. After work started there were two addendums bringing total to $12,722.nn. The fuel spout had to be removed but something is one time use and is included in pkg from Ford so had to replace entire assembly. (I elected to have Ford Certified Shop). Even though the quarter panel bolts on something maybe a bent bracket or (?) required welding which required respraying of bed liner which was $799.00 plus transport to and from bedliner sprayer for $700 (both included 25% markup by body shop). The rear plastic bumper cover was scratched with a tab broken off and that was about $650 (+/-). In addition was 5 weeks of Rental car. Plus a check direct to me for Diminished value. I believe it was $100 to check the aluminium OEM lariat rim which passed but my replacement tire had a bruised sidewall and had to be replaced. Came close to a total since mine was a 2022.Indeed. Maybe i'm out of touch but that price seems high.
Insurance has already taken possession. Sad daysWould love to purchase the wheels and tires if the vehicle is totaled.
It was definitely a pain in the rear end, especially when it was due to someone else not paying attention. I have moved on to an F-150 and have been checking out dashcams. That is really tough, I would be heartsick. Just ordered a FITCAMX HD dashcam front and rear for our 2025 that is not built yet. Based upon our own experience we would not be without a dashcam. Glad you are all right but what a pain to go through replacing a great truck. Best wishes.
All US spec vehicles have had side marker lights since 1968 when they became federally mandated. In what way does the Maverick not have them in your belief?Sorry that happened so soon or at all. It seems like Mavs are magnets to get hit, but it is probably just social media effect of finding out about them all. I would be curious to know if Mavs do suffer more side impacts due to lack of side marker lights, but that wouldn't have helped you if she ran the red light.
Totally sucks. Esp that it brand new just did the obligatory got mine. Seems like Mavs nearly always go totaled. What's next on the agenda.Well guys, in case you were curious. This is how the 25’s handle a hard hit to the side.
