I have USAA for auto insurance and prior to purchasing my Lariat, I provided the VIN #s of both an XLT and Lariat I was comparing. USAA actually quoted me $16 cheaper/month for the Lariat compared to the XLT.

That is not much and I was still going to get the Lariat for other reasons but, I just found that odd.
How did you answer the Active Recovery question? USAA asked me that on my quote (for my Lariat arriving in the next couple days) and I didn't know the answer. I did some digging here and elsewhere and as far as I can tell, there's no LoJack-type feature on any Maverick. That's only something Ford offers on F-series trucks.

Does Ford Pass/GPS count as active recovery? I've never owned a Ford before and I don't know what they've offered over the years.

I was never asked that question, but I think the person who posted above may be right. Probably the default safety options equipped on the XLT vs Lariat is what USAA quoted me.
