Looking at upgrading the speakers and adding a sub in my 2025 as I find the factory stereo abysmal. Anyone know the stock wattage per channel for the new sync 4 system in the 2025?

Yeah I know stock stereos don't have a lot of wattage but just wondering how many watts the Maverick sync 4 system actually comes with. I'm currently looking at the Kicker 46CSC674 upfront and the Kicker 46CSC44 for the rear. Sensitivities seem decent at 90db and 88db respectively. Most stock radios, even aftermarket aren't more than 15-20 watts rms. Best bet is to find efficient speakers (high sensitivity rating = louder on less power) that sound good. Infinity and JBL are pretty popular budget options.
That's possible. I just figured someone here might know or the specs would be listed somewhere out there.I doubt that it's published.
Thanks for the reply. I ended up swapping in the speakers I listed above and they are a remarkable improvement over stock. Honestly, night and day difference like others have described. Stock speakers were so muffled.Somewhere between 10-14 w is the norm even for aftermarket headunits
There is an entire section on changing/upgrading/modifying the stock sound system. Pages, chapters and details down to the micro. I wish I could point you to one specifically, but I would just put the words "stereo upgrade" or "stereo modification" and keep reading what comes up till you hit pay dirt. It's there. I saw it. What speaker wire to use, ohm resistance, where to ground, where to hook up the positive, going into forscan and modifying the settings, the right tweeters to buy, which speakers fit the best in the front door panels and rear panels...........the guys in here did it all! You'll just have to find it. Take your time. It will be worth it.That's possible. I just figured someone here might know or the specs would be listed somewhere out there.
This site has been a irreplaceable resource so far. I've read dozens, if not hundreds of threads here which has saved me a lot of greif or errors I'm sure. There is an entire section on changing/upgrading/modifying the stock sound system. I didn't take my time and did a lot of splicing in the wrong areas and re-wiring to make up the mistakes I made. If you go through the library of folks here who did it, you'll get it done, one time and it will sound the way you want. Again, I wish I knew which link is the best for you, but I think you will find it on your own.
There is a guy in here who built the exact same thing! And yes, I hooked up my powered subwoofer to the rear channel and it is definitely not a good place to wire into the speakers! When one hooks it up there, the filter cross over affects the ability to balance all four speakers evenly. This site has been a irreplaceable resource so far. My next task is installing a 10" sub under the rear seat and I would have just tapped into the rear speakers but because I've read info on this here before hand, I've learned rear speakers may have filters/crossovers on their signal and it's best to tap into the front.
I would have been pissed if I had gone through all this effort of building a custom enclosure and wiring it all up only to realize I tapped into the wrong wires. Pic of custom enclosure waiting for final sanding and carpet before install.

That's right too. Hooking up to the rears would mess with balancing capability. I'll also be using a remote bass level knob on the sub amp to allow precise control. There is a guy in here who built the exact same thing! Excellent information. Thanks!I took some measurements with the scope the other day.
The probe as at 1x and the scope was set to 10x so the voltage is 10x higher in the images.
At 1KHz , volume 24, no clipping, the output is 7.922V RMS, calculates to 15.7W.
At 1Khz, volume 25, some clipping, the output is 9.10V RMS, calculates to 20.7W.

I just got a 2025 XL Hybrud and am looking to upgrade speakers as well. I thought about doing 5 channel amp and a sub, but truth be told I think that is more than I need. I just want an upgrade from the (correctly put) abysmal factory speakers. Google AI said something about not exceeding 350 watts total on the hybrid, and truth be told, I don’t want to do anything to allow the dealer to deny a claim on the infotainment system if they see an aftermarket amp on there (I have 6 year/75k warranty and I just know more costly repairs would happen to the tech than the machinery)…replacing speakers is nothing. Did you replace yourself? Any tips to share? ThxThanks for the reply. I ended up swapping in the speakers I listed above and they are a remarkable improvement over stock.
