Got my new A.R.E. Cap today

Got my new ARE. V series Cap today. Wife insisted I get it for an upcoming cross country camping trip so things in the bed would be a little more secure. I didn't really want one but it looks better than I thought it would. The paint matched perfectly. Took six weeks for it to come in. Had them put an extra clip on each side as we carry canoes on the roof and one crossbar will be on the cap.

Looks great. Let us know if it leaks. Some installers use the incorrect seal and it will leak pretty bad.

Yeah, that looks great! I'd love to get one of these for my truck but I am kind of in the opposite situation as you where my fiancé wants to keep the bed fully open so we can use it for hauling dirt, mulch, and other home project needs.

I like cappers . had them on previous trucks . Don't need or want one on my Mav . hard tonneau for me . adds security and opens up the bed for other uses .

Very nice! Too bad you are across the country from me (southern California) since it would be fun to park our trucks next to each other.

Best cap I've seen yet for a Mav.
My new Maverick is within days of delivery. My old ride, a ’99 Tacoma, has had a cap since I got it and it's served me well. For the new truck, I've opted to get a fold-up cover, not a cap. I just like the look of the vehicle with the low bed at the rear, and the fold-up will serve my needs. That said, nice cap!

Looks good. I've had a similar ARE cap on my 2011 F-150 work truck since it was new, and the cap has held up very well (as has the truck). I've only had to replace a couple of gas struts. I added roof racks, which have carried a lot of weight with no issues.
