Ok so I bought my maverick spring of 24.
As some know I drive a ton. So wasn’t long and I did my first transmission fluid change.
I ordered what was on the amsoil recommended sheet. Lv fluid.
Today I see they have updated to ulv fluid.
Now some would panic and think oh boy. Know I have ordered the correct fluid for the truck now and will use it going forward. But I have got about 50k miles on this lv fluid and have seen zero negative signs.
I tow much more than the recommended 4 k a lot and very long hauls. So maybe the fluid is better for my use.
Now I know several times this has happened to me over the years.
not only has amsoil but even ford has changed what they recommend for a brand new vehicle at one point to something new.
