Just wondering what you all use to bring the black back from hitting it with the wax? I want to bring it "Back in Black".

Thanks

There's this YouTube video, where the guy uses one of those giant rubber erasers from the dollar store, and it looks to work rubbing the wax off, and it looks to be safe for trim and paint -

I use Meguiar's Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer on an old t-shirt/sock/soft terry towel and it works pretty good.

A standard eraser works great! I use a " magic" eraser i got from Walmart since it's a large size.

An eraser from Walmart works great also! 99cents. 😃

The eraser trick works great. Then use the McGuires. Also next time go buy a roll of blue masking tape to keep the wax off the plastic

I always do my trim after waxing. Pretty much any trim product I’ve used takes the wax off, even Tire Wet (though I don’t approve of tire wet for plastic trim).

Cerakote - ceramic trim coat seems to work very well on my Mav’s exterior black plastic. I’ve used the eraser to get the excess wax off, too. It “mostly” works. Going forward, I will use painter’s tape to mask off the plastic when waxing the metal. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SHJVK4G?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I've tried many things, use to be a strictly McQuires person, but this VPR works great on all vinyl, rubber (great on tires), and plastics. It gives a deep dark black color to everything and lasts a longer time than most.
