I’ve used Wipe-New on my other cars and it works well. Probably lasts two years until you start to see a slight fade again. Doesn’t peel, streak, or flake off. Turns really grey plastic net black instantly and stays

But do you wait until the plastic starts to fade or do you regularly apply every month, quarter, year etc.?

imo i use protectant on new cars to keep them from fading, as once they start to fade you can clean em up but theyll never look fully new again and the dressing doesnt last as long. its like waxing you dont wait till its fading, you wax proactively ;)

i wash my vehicles (except my offroader) every 2 weeks, so i apply every wash, same time i spray wax it. so twice a month it gets a coat of that on the interior and exterior. probably overkill, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

CeraKote for exterior plastic trim. I'm using it now. Applied it after cleaning the truck and using IPA. I wiped/rubbed it in as I was applying. The results have been excellent and it has withstood washes, sun, and strong rain.
Do not, however, use CeraKote on your interior plastic trim - you'll be sorry! See my pics in the No-Go/ Go-To of this forum topic.
Can someone post a pic or link for Cerakote? I just want to make sure I pick up the correct product. Also, does it protect against scratches and scuffs?

imo no product will protect against scratch. maybe small scratch here and there, as in hairline marks you cant really see without a trained eye. if you use your nail etc youll scratch just as easily as uncoated. its mainly to protect from weathering/fading

I don't have my Maverick yet, but I do have a Ford Espace with as much plastic as the Maverick. I love the Chemical Guy VRP! Works great! Lots of their product are worth the money! Strongly recommend (y)

303 is a great product but it wont last on the exterior plastic. I bought cerakote and will try it on one side, compared to cquartz uk 3.0 (an actual ceramic coating) on the other side. Will post pics when done probably later this week

This guy does allot of pretty thorough testing on various products.

Haven’t tried Cerakote yet but hear good things about it. Have been using VRP and 303 on my CRV trim with decent results.
