What’s the deal with my rear center seat ALWAYS sounding an alarm when someone is sitting in the left or right rear seat? It’s pissing me off. Nobody is in the seat. There’s NOTHING on top of the seat. Not even a phone or pencil. Should I take it to Ford for service?

Fun fact, my (1st) 2024 Lariat with BAP would indicate the rear-center alarm all the time, but my (2nd) 2024 Lariat Tremor does not. Pretty much the same seat, 'cept for the Tremor stitching on the fronts. The non-Tremor was an early production (VIN under 00500), the Tremor is much later (VIN over 150000+), so maybe they've figured it out?

Disable the chime for the rear center passenger position. The manual 'splains how to do this.

If it doesn't work on the first attempt, knock back a couple shots of tequila and try again.

If that doesn't work, just buckle the center belt and wait for some recalls on your year/model, before taking the truck in just to get the chime issue fixed.

My '23 doesn't, either.
The 23 certainly does have a centre seat sensor. However it can be disabled for a year in the vehicle setup on the centre screen. After a year it will re-enable the sensor. Its a real pain when someone in the back plugs their seatbelt into the wrong latch, which is extremely easy to do with the poor way they are laid out.

How do I do step 3 for the rear seats 5 seconds after step 2 with ALL the doors closed?????šŸ¤”
Sit in the rear seat position you're trying to disable.

IMPORTANT for Step 3: After each time you unbuckle, WAIT for the red seatbelt light to re-appear, before you buckle the belt again.

Mine does not.
I'v sure that the XLT and Lariat models have the centre sensor and seatbelt. I'm not sure about the XL though. Did you buy it new or did the previous owner remove it?
