I did see another review of a competitor set that I also tried mention the issue, so I figured I wasn't alone. Appreciate the feedback.I did have same issue (see post 51) but chalked it up to me having door guards all the way around. I used a Dremel tool with just a sandpaper attachment to grind off a couple of mm of the edge on the marker area making contact. I really thought it was only because of my guards. That sanded area is so deep within the door frame I can't see it, plus I did a good job making it look perfect. Obviously it's your call to do this. I do think during the assembling process of our trucks there is some leeway on the cap between the door and fender, I remember reading that within the forum somewhere.
Do you happen to have a close-up pic to share? I debated the mildly destructive approach but didn't want it to look like a hack-job. Curious what it looks like up close for both the aesthetic and angle you chose to grind?
