Your priority code means nothing to ford and its production. The priority code is solely the priority within other orders solely at the particular dealer you ordered from.

Well, that's up to your dealer. Some dealers (I think most) never change their priority codes as they get filled in the order of priority anyway. They usually always give the same code to all orders unless a special customer. Maybe unfair to some unfilled older orders, however.

05 isn't bad, could be as low as 19 but as others have pointed out it is all relative to how your dealership codes all orders.

If every order goes in as a 05 then you have no greater or less priority than any other orders.

For my dealership - orders go in as 19 but I asked and received the priority code 03 and was one of the first Mavericks scheduled for them.

You may want to watch Tim's weekly videos. Each trim level, powertrain, options etc has set production levels set by ford. Then there's part shortages in addition to ford production line selections for what and when something actually gets built. Below is a sample video Tim does (he's fantastic). Search the progress bar to see the sections for maverick or watch the whole video. The stats use to be posted on this forum weekly in years past but I have seen those in a long time. Good Luck

Oh, if you didn't order the optional trailer hitch on the XL trim, it used to be like $100.00, do yourself a favor and have your dealer update your order with ford and get an updated dora sheet from your dealer as proof. Even if you don't plan to tow, it can be used for lots of other stuff and it will cost you 6-7 times as much to add to the truck later.

I know nothing more about priority codes that hasn't been posted.
As far as assembly goes. March is fully scheduled already. April schedules in a few weeks and you've got a shot there, but XL always has more orders than capacity, so maybe May. Add in shipping and you should have a truck by 4th of July if all goes well. Maverick ordering teaches patience.

Best to just give up on the order now and hit the lots. It would have to be built in the next 2 weeks to get it before April factoring in the time it takes to ship this far north.
