I have a 23 XLT Tremor, it is night and day different then an FX4 or just all wheel drive Maverick.Hey everyone, I currently have a 2023 XLT FX4 with the optional upgraded rims and Falken tires that come stock on the Tremor. I’ve rode in about every Maverick trim except the tremor, and from what I’ve been hearing there is supposedly a noticeable difference in ride quality with tremor due to the suspension upgrades. For those of you that have driven both, is the difference really that substantial, or is it just noticeable over the huge bumps? And has anyone been able to swap the tremor suspension into a standard awd?
The Tremor's modes and locking of the rear axles and four lock abilities why I bought it. The lift helps. I lifted mine more. I still have the Falken AT3's. I will go bigger and a bfg when money
But I will say this I tell you from having two XLT Tremor's I wouldn't buy a Maverick any other way. But I ordered mine in 22 and got mine in various points of 23. The price is a massive factor. I can honestly tell you the maverick is still made exactly the same as the first 19,995 trucks were that now cost 27,000 ish for the same thing.
I also had a 22 Hybrid XL which I truly miss. The parts and availability from an FX4 to Tremor is a big difference. Whether I helped explain it well enough to you. But bottom line is the cost. My MSRP was 32K with a sunroof and Center console plug, I can justify every bit of it. But it's 12,000 more added to a 19,995 truck.
Swapping suspensions is only a small part or what a Tremor is.
