Yet another Camera post - but Mine had a message while it was froze

Yesterday I was driving and had my camera freeze again. But this time I also had a message in the upper left corner: "Indexing Nexus".

A clue?

I have never used a USB drive for music, which most info I found referred to. In fact, I've never installed a thumb drive in the vehicle.

Man if he had a Nexus that would be an old phone by today's standards. I think they discontinued that like 7-8 years ago. But if he has one, that's a good piece of troubleshooting.

Go on the NHTSA website and file a report with a picture, if you have one. It helps with the recall. If you contact Ford, they let it get lost.

Ford has been fined and is on a 3 year probation and is being overseen by a third party due to slow or no response to recalls. They will be monitored and pushed to respond. To hell with researching forever to find the cheapest fix!

My camera doesn't freeze but it stays on until I get to 15 mph. I filmed it and sent the video in.

I wish ford could upgrade the brain of the radio to sync 3, even if it was made available as a paid dealer upgrade. Ive never had my camera lock up but I did have it stay on while I was driving down the road for a couple of miles till I reached my destination

Done.
I've also had times where the infotainment system locks up, but not with the camera in use. Reported that too. Betting the system lock up is the root and not so much camera related.

You sure it is not 5 MPH? It is selectable in the settings for you to set it to remain on up to 5 MPH and I find it useful for backing with a trailer and aligning with parking. Anytime you may have to pull forward after backing and then back up again.
