Cover PN for the 2020 escape Hybrid cover is LX6Z-6A949-B if anyone was curious. I might use some of my fordpass points on it if I can.
I might try this. I was thinking it might deter rodents? I hadn't heard that it might attract them.

I think the cover is awesome and I plan to do that to my truck whenever it gets here. Thanks for the post.

Does it make the engine sound different?
good point.
I bought the cover available for the Escape 2.0.

Fits great. You will want to buy the additional studs to secure it with but all in it was only about $75.
Thank you for sharing this. It does look great and I mean as any car I ever saw should look like.
probably it would have costed Ford $15, but you know what ...a part less we should worry to source and delay vehicles....

I will definitely be getting one of these for my truck. Just makes the underhood appearance look so much better.

Thanks for sharing!

Does anyone know if one of these will fit the Hybrid 2.5? I suspect not, but wanted to ask in the forum. Thanks!

Post 61 I posted the PN for the Hybrid escape version. That is likely the Hybrid mavericks best shot, since they both use the same 2.5L and very similar Hybrid systems.

Looks really good- wonder if the hybrid will match the escape covers too…

Too many to list.

I was actually in pain reading this thread watching everyone asking the OP which studs they needed to order with the cover to complete the install and getting multiple answers and watching others discuss the need for a cover in the first place. I likened the experience to me helping my senior citizen parents diagnose computer problems over the phone. Did we EVER get a definitive answer on exactly what studs are needed to be ordered to secure the cover and what their part number is?

Thought y’all might like seeing the engine bay cleaned up a little. I bought the cover available for the Escape 2.0.

I like it. I finally got to see a Maverick in person the other day, so if we do get one I think I will be adding this little decorative piece to it.

The soy-based/rodent issues are typically in the wire harness insulation/jacketing, not from a molded plastic part, so I would not expect rodent issues from the cover. Not sure where Ford sources the wiring harnesses, but that would be where the "attraction" is, if there is one.
