2023 Tremor hood scoop questions

Hi Y'all,

I have two questions:

1. Can this hood scoop be painted to match the truck?
2. Do the factory hood decals need to me removed or is there enough room?

You can paint them, people have posted that before. Ford won't do it, you'll have to try and get colour matched paint. As to if it will fit between the decals, no idea.

from the images on the ford web site, it appears as though the scoop sits at the base of the ridges: just inside your graphics.

as for being paintable, first, you'd need to know that they are made by airdesign..then, keeping this in mind:

cheaper if you purchase directly from the manufacturer..but if you plan on using points, that doesn't help much

Oh my bad, I thought you meant to post a pic of one. I think it would fit between the decals. Search the forum for someone that has one and send them a direct message, they'd probably measure for ya.

My ford body shop will paint anything, I’ve had a ton of painted stuff from them matched grabber blue. Lol even motorcycle stuff

some stuff they did for me, painted my sportbike and Harley both grabber blue, and misc stuff like engine covers etc. they are cool.

He never said painted by Ford Motor company. He just said, quote my Ford body shop. So easily taken as my local Ford body shop, not quoteFordMotorCompany.
