Painted shadow black hood scoop

That scoop looks great on your Maverick. I think minus the tailgate spoiler the hood scoop and cab spoiler look best painted. Shadow black is really nice, but shows scratches and swirls so easy. That's most blacks though.

Had to use Turtle Wax ceramic acrylic black wax on my Ford Ranger at a certain point to really bring out the best in that paint. Though we're talking an '09 so it had some age.

I love it. Just too cheap to do it for my oxford white tremor.

Looks great. But am I correct in assuming it's just for aesthetics? It doesn't actually increase airflow to the rad (it's very easy for me to convince myself I know what I'm saying when I don't).

That and because i am cheap is why i didn't do this ... But it does look good. .lol

Looks awesome! I think they hit a home run with the way this looks on the Maverick. The same goes for the rear window spoiler as well. They're not just plain rather have character. Nice mod!

Have the hood scoop also and tailgate appliqué, fender flares, will get the cab spoiler soon.

Man that looks great ny mav.i really want one for mine too.and now I can see how it looks on mine which is the same as yours.shadow black,onyx black interior,black appearance package,5% blacked out windows,change out the chrome lug nuts for black ones plus tons of other mods.but at $399 for the scoop,plus paint and install start getting up there in a hurry like the cab spoiler I had installed.

I like these. This is on my list. Currently my wife thinks I have too much for the truck..... lol. In due time.
