Impressive! They maxed it out. Actually over max as the tongue weight was about 500lbs. Also at 11,000 feet of elevation it would be down on power (about 33% less power). It did everything about as good as the mid size trucks and the down hill part even better.

Well, in today's world, that is cause celebration!

It seems everything gets single digit mpg on that road when maxed out. Since it had a nearly perfect time, got the same mpg as everything else does, and the hosts had zero problems at any point, I am very impressed. I am getting pretty excited about my VB Lariat order that will hopefully be picked up this week!

Did you watch the video at all?

over tongue weight, max towing capacity, below freezing temps, 11k max elevation and a 7% grade for 8 miles.

It is a full on torture test and it did better than some mid-size trucks.

It is very impressive. Especially when EB folks on here shitting all over its capabilities.

I feel like the EB would get better mpg due to turbo/power less pinging off limiter

Have been waiting to see this video pop up. Curious if the truck was through the "break-in" period before they did it. Also, would love for them to do an ecoboost now for comparison. Just for fun of course, because I have no plans to get rid of the AWD hybrid!
