Actually the climate control buttons are always available on the bottom of the screen on the 25 Maverick...no need to dig into various menus. :)
Do they provide any type of feedback (small vibration) or straight touch ?

I don't know about feedback...that is a great question! I have only seen pictures and read reviews stating the climate controls are always on the bottom of the screen.

25 refresh is a 20k vehicle with lipstick.
Give it a few months and dealers will have these sitting on their lots with discounts.
It's gonna work out well financially for those who traded in their year old vehicles just to have refreshed one.

Edit: the XLT fwd hybrid isn't bad of a deal but once you start to add AWD, 4k or lariat then your sitting at a 35-40k vehicle, which just IMO is not worth it.
I dunno... I started as a hybrid SUV shopper and ended on the Mav strictly for the gas milage and reliability of Ford. $40000 for a vehicle as nice as the lariat is a good deal for the hybrid market. This coming from someone who didn't even consider a truck, more less a small truck.
I do however fully recognize the feeling for bait and switch for you 2022+ Mav owners. Id be irritated in the price jump also.

For Lariat EcoBoost owners, there is no feeling of "bait and switch". For my fully loaded 22 Maverick I paid $33,500 and the price tag for my fully loaded 25 Maverick will be $35,900. The 25 Maverick EcoBoost has some nice upgrades too: a redesigned engine, sync 4 with a larger screen and 360 camera system and pro trailer package.

Good for you OP

Heart warming post for me to read and glad to see most Maverick owners feel the same way.

The '25's are a hideous example of shrinkflation.
Thanks

I agree with you.

Too many things on the new ones that require staring at a friggin' screen to change, that formerly could be done by reaching for a physical knob and adjusting without looking.

I don't care how big the screen is.
Thats one reason I purchased the Maverick to begin with.

I agree with the fellows above, I so much appreciate the knobs and buttons. Buttons are far more intuitive that screen menus.
I have a phone with no buttons whatsoever. It seems to work well for me.

What would really work would be a round screen in center of steering wheel with the screen buttons remaining in same position as the wheel is turned. GPS map of course would keep direction of travel pointed to top of wheel with a compass pointing to north.

I get that, but it's one thing I do miss in my Model 3 I have for the A/C specifically and some radio control.

I get some people believe they can operate a phone just fine while driving, but for me, I needs those hands free, my old phone it was easier though to find the answer call button with a physical button years ago. And mine still keeps key buttons physical. I would prefer to keep volume buttons on my phone, but I get some people can go without them all.

Being an old man I never liked the smaller screen and I do use my apple car play more than I thought so ordered a 25 for the bigger screen, 360 camera, sync 4 and EB enhancements. This will be my 4th Maverick and probably my last so thought I would treat myself to some of the extra options.

When was younger I probably would of chuckled to see an old geezer spend an extra 9k something he didn't really need.🙂

Now I will put my old geezer hat on and say I doubt a lot of these young pups sold their last 4 trucks for a profit and made enough to cover that 9k plus some. :D
WOW, you're 4th Maverick. That's a testimonial for the little truck that could.
