Sorry to infiltrate the forum, I don’t own a Maverick I have however been doing some anticipated work on my own vehicle which is an Escape utilizing the new updates coming to the 2025 Maverick. My main focus is engine performance and tuning but also many of the Forscan modifications like rear camera while driving and turn signal camera views.
Summary aside, I’d like to point my insight to those interested in M mode. This feature is defined by the BCM. Either L or M. At least that’s as far as I’ve seen it needed to be taken. I am not able to hop on Forscan to verify this setting is even in the EZ mode nor am I able to access the as-builts between Maverick and Bronco Sport to define this location in the AB config version but I’ll try to get to it this weekend though I am hoping someone more ready is able to do it sooner. I’ll directly compare some as-builts soon to verify mainly between Bronco Sports trims since they get M on Badlands and it will eliminate a lot of searching.
Parsing data from the F-150 it’s located in line 726-77-02-xxxx-xxx*-xx—
This section defines RNDM_TransType_Cfg
0= L mode
1= M mode
Hopefully it’s the same for P758/CX430/CX482 but could likely not be. When I added the pillar mounted keyless entry pad the BCM functions didn’t line up the same as “next gen” BCM’s so I’m preemptively figuring neither will this.
