Honestly, yes it did!
Other than the cosmetic damage on the bumper cover and tailgate, the exhaust tip got bent and the”crumple zone” on the driver side has a tiny bit of a bend. It really held up well!
looks hopeful from outside for Maverick minimal repairs needed. Hard to say what if any structural damage could have occurred beyond the bumper. BTW: looks like 1 side of bumper completely separated from the frame but other side intact? A little concerning RE integrity of bumper mounts attachment method.

It’s not totaled but the “crumple zone” is bent a tiny bit. I was told it will “an easy fix, if we can get the parts”.
. That looks like one hell of a wallop. On her car anyway. What a shame. Good luck with getting it put back together.
Dang. No air bags deployed for you? Hope that repair will be quick and painless.

No airbags deployed. I saw her coming and tried to gas it at the last second but I was too slow.

Is/was that a Mirage? I considered one before we opted for ordering a Maverick.
The car is aptly named. You think its a car from a distance but when you get closer you realize it was all an illusion.
Just a few years ago they were selling for $12,000 new I think. Now it's $18,000 or better.
