This is a really inspiring build! I wanted to make a rack to hold tools against the back of the cab, and using the bed rails like that would be perfect, awesome idea!

I like the concept of leveraging the cleat/rail system as an attachment point. So many possibilities there.

To protect the back window from loading mishaps and also to rest ladders, lumber, etc on so long items don't have to stick out the back with the tailgate down. Also, just looks cool.
