Where does this talking trains happen? I have a few HO layouts and am about to start my Z. I like trains quite a lot. My biggest layout (goes around the whole house 7” below the ceiling) is Durango and Silverton, with some artistic adaptations, seeings as you are from CO.

Takes place in a friends garage. Just he and I. He's stricktly N Scale.
Me, on the other hand, have too much N Scale, 3 Rail and G Scale.
With a small spattering of some selected HO equipment.
And nowhere to display it all!!

G Scale is in the front yard, The 3 Rail is set up for club train show in December, usually.
Going to set up a G Scale loop again this year! Have 3 N Scale layouts in progress.
Ranging from 2 2x4 to a 36x80 HCD - Hollow Core Door.

The truck won't be built or here in time to take part in our Atlanta-St Louis-Denver-Las Vegas-Atlanta trip we have coming up. That'll go to the Genesis, which is probably better at it anyway.

First Maverick trip should be the 800+ mile trip from the dealer to home.

My 1st trip will be a drive of 105 miles home, from the dealer. Probably no major trips, until the spring.

Will be towing my hovercraft to Fl in Apr for a cruise with others then on to Lakeland, Fl for the Sun & Fun show (like Oshkosh fly in) and then down to Key West for some fun.

Technically, it will likely be a trip to TN from Atlanta to visit my parents. My first official roadtrip, however, will be in June/July when I head to Yellowstone, then on to Salt Lake City, over to Colorado to attempt my hike up Pike's Peak, then back to Atlanta with a quick stop in Salina, KS to visit Maverick Jerusalem and the Maverick messiah.

Well, was hoping to go to a convention in February, but it's looking more and more like it'll be a camping trip in summer...

That Key West drive is great, 45mph all the way. You have to hit Key Largo, and Isla Morada (where they filmed Bloodline) on the way to Key West.
