37, inside sales/CSR for an MRO distribution company. We mostly serve forestry and aggregate industries where I am.

As far a vehicles go, it's my first new vehicle. Prior to this my biggest vehicle purchase was a 2007 Nissan Frontier in 2009 that I traded in for a 2010 Honda Civic in 2012. Currently I still have my 2006 Volvo V70 AWD that I loved but was costing a lot in gas $$$ and I've known for a long time I needed a hybrid for the amount of driving I do.

Earlier in the year I considered getting an old Ranger, something paid out of pocket and kept as a second vehicle kind of thing... My ideas then changed and I would've been in a new Subaru Outback had Ford not announced the Maverick when it did. This isn't my first Ford, I had an early 90s Festiva with a 4 speed manual. It was painted yellow with a roller, wheels and all! Most fun my 17 year old self ever had on 4 wheels, it was cheap on gas and I could fit 3-4 friends in there.

I'm loving the Maverick, it's what I needed. So much easier for trips to the hardware store and getting a little utility trailer will help me if I need to bring my garden tractor or snowblower for service. I'll get a bed tent for it and some camping gear, my girlfriend and I love road trips but it was expensive last summer staying in hotels and driving the Volvo. We'll go farther for less with the Mav.
I'll likely sell the V70 and look for a nicer V70R or an older RWD Volvo wagon as a second vehicle.

I am a 72 year old retired Electronics Engineer, designed computers for ITT & Intel. Retired Army Helicopter pilot, I also fly fixed wing. Now living the retired life in Henderson NV. Over the years I have owned many sport cars and 4 Rangers, the older Rangers were the size of the Maverick. When my XLT Hybrid arrives this Tuesday I will sell the 2021 Ranger I bought in Feb.

41/M/Missouri....wait, wrong site...lol,

Started out sweeping the floors in a 12 bay Ford Dealership @ 15 1/2 years old, moved up to oil change mechanic, for 2 years working after school and some saturdays, moved into parts and was manager for 17 years, wrote service for 3 miserable years (not for me), moved back into parts as manager for a year, then got let go by new owners, got hired at Ford dealer up the road in main parts, been here 8 months and made more money in the 8 months here than I did for the whole previous year from last dealership, now oversee all parts operations for the quicklane department, loving 99% of it!!!
Oh! so you can get us parts for like half price?

When I was a Flight Nurse, our pilots were ex Army Helo pilots.. At times I wonder if they were having flashbacks because of their approach (i.e coming into a hot LZ)
