  1. Maverick owners beware! Factory decals removed in automatic car wash! [UPDATED: removed decals]

My 2018 FX my 2018 F150 with FX4 decals has been through multiple different car washes many many time without any decals peeling off. Based on what I’m reading on this website and on Facebook the build quality of this Maverick truck is shit.
  2. Hybrid production has been completely stopped for 2022 Mavericks, per my dealer

I agree that FoMoCo has fucked over a lot of folks in its handling of this Maverick. Would have been easy (and cost Ford nothing) for the company to keep folks informed, not lie to them, be transparent.
  3. Ford should have added fabric pocket sleeves behind both front seats

I keep stuff in said seat pockets in my 150, 350, and Prius.
  4. Hybrid production has been completely stopped for 2022 Mavericks, per my dealer

I don’t believe that the OP is correct. However, assuming his post is indeed correct than I would be happy to get a 2023 at the price I negotiated for a 2022. No doubt for the 2023 model FoMoCo will have fixed some of the flaws in the 2022 model. I can wait.
  5. Android Auto literally useless. Anyone else?

Discouraging since the screen/head unit/maps in my 12-year-old Prius that is being replaced by a Maverick functions flawlessly. More Ford quality?
  6. 2022 Ford Maverick Brochure [PDF]

"perimeter alarm" is listed as Standard on XLT (and on the Lariat) in the brochure. How does this perimeter alarm work? If somebody walks close to the truck is there a chirp? Somebody please educate me. Thanks.
  7. For rewarded my patience with an $890.00 msrp increase

I spoke with Ford (800-392-3673) and with Chapman (Ashlie Ryan) today specifically about the price increase. Original reason that I called Ford was to find out if the MSRP increase on the Mach E I have on order (for wife) would cost me more than the agree upon price at the time of order> bottom...
  8. 10" wide screen

10" screen looks better than 8" screen.
  9. Your age / occupation?

    54. Dermatologist
  10. Hybrid Maverick showing 37.4 MPG + rear seats folded w/ headrests removed (pics)

Folded position looks like shit. Unappealing…Ford should have designated better. 37 mpg is acceptable for combo city/highway. Thanks for posting.
  11. 🧭 Track Your Maverick Order by VIN + Order Number [& Get Your Window Sticker]

Educate me. How did you do this? What is a drop ship? How much did it cost? My truck ordered through Chapman but I’d prefer to pick it up in Texas or Kentucky. Thanks.
  12. How much are you paying? / Are these good offers?

I went with the 4% off deal from Chapman. I asked my dealer here in Texas, Holiday Ford (to match) that I have bought a 150 and a 350 from recently and the best they could do was msrp. Chapman is in PA but I’m going to keep the Maverick in KY at the site of a part time job. Folks at Chapman were...
  13. ~26.6 MPG for 2.0L Maverick Lariat FX4!

That's shitty mileage for a microtruck like this Maverick. I know it is not the hybrid, however, but for a vehicle this small this mileage 26 is a real disappointment. I've got a 2018 F150 2.7 that get's 17-18 and that's a full sized truck with all of the functionality. Further, I hear guys...
