Oh cool! I didn’t even knew that this existed.

Post another picture of then after you get them installed if you don’t mind.

I will, my plan is to install the lights today then load my e-bikes on the rack so I can take some measurements so I can figure out the right bike cover👍

Okay I have the bike rack lights plugged in very simple process I still need to route the wires and install the wire clips that were included.

Photos show taillights illuminated and one each of the turn signals - I did check the brake light they also work but couldn’t show a photo being I’m home alone.

After plugging in the four pin harness I did get an alert in the Maverick as I expected “cross traffic alert disabled” due to trailer connected sensed this cleared once I hit okay on the menu screen but remains inactive as it would if I were actually pulling a trailer.

That is actually a nice feature! My Maverick has auto-braked on me multiple times while backing up with the bike rack on it. It sometimes "detects" that the rack is there and disables rear obstacle detection, but it will literally change its mind mid-backup and detect the rack and then brake.

Of course I can disable it via the menu, but I tend to get in a hurry.

I wonder if just a "dummy plug" in the trailer light connector would disable the rear obstacle detection while the bike mount is installed? That would be faster than hunting through the menu.

That or maybe I'll get lights.

I would say yes IMO a dummy plug would likely disable this if you choose not to install a light setup on your bike rack👍

Okay this project is complete, the 2 e-bikes fit this bike rack perfect and are very stable and secured, the tail-lights are installed and everything works using the four prong plug, my final task was finding the right bike cover so I purchased, installed and tested the RVingPro cover it’s a great cover and the translucent panels show the Maverick tail-lights so there plenty for the vehicles behind me to see - it’s durable and there’s no flapping everything is protected from the elements and locked up plus the WolfBox rear camera has a great unobstructed view while going down the road or in park mode.
