Doesn't matter what fuel you are putting if you want to get your car up to 100k miles. if you want over 100k without a problem it is cheap insurance to buy better oil and better gasoline. I do use non ethanol fuel on maverick hybrid. none-ethanol is about 20 cents more but engine is much happier. No wonder in Europe most most EU countries will not sell gasoline that contains more than 5% ethanol. Ethanol by burning creates sludge that is not good for engine. Wait, but new cars are designed for ethanol fuel - BS. you cannot go against the physics. pure gas burns cleaner. period. that's the fact.

I agree. 100% gas is better than the 10% ethanol. Better gas mileage too. When I took a 12 hour road trip to Chicago I was getting 1 mpg better using 90 octane pure gas vs. 93 octane 10% ethanol blend. Non-ethanol used to cost the same as 93 10%, but early this year non-ethanol jumped up in my area. It cost like 50 cents more per gallon.
