I am still in the 28 to 30MPG range using 89 and 91 octane. I really am tempted to put in some 110 racing fuel but I know that it would make it run fat. But.. still a temptation.

Everyone is all over the map with their gas milage so everyone can take this data with a grain of salt. It's simply my data.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I have the same vehicle options as you and I'm only getting 21 MPG using 87 octane.

Ford Maverick 2.0 MPG gas mileage tests (so far) and differences using 87 vs 92 octane 20220210_171838

Total miles almost 560, 34mpg == 10.001g for 34x miles. This is Trip 2, showing 37 minutes, 41.5 miles, and 36.9 mpg traveling about what the speedo indicates. That was about the average based on time/distance for the whole trip, right around the mid-60's overall, including 3 stops.

XLT ecotoot with FWD, driver that has decades of getting good mpg out of a vehicle.
