Installed the Xtang Trifecta (soft/folding), everything is secured tightly and I’m not able to lift any of the edges while parked. However, at highway speeds I notice the fabric flaps excessively and on windy days it’s even worse. Is this normal or is there a solution?

I’ve snapped some photos, I can’t move it any closer to the cab and it seems to be squared up. First time tonneau owner so let me know.

Fairly sure it's not an uncommon characteristic of many soft covers

My cover flaps at highway speeds as well and I purchased a tailgate seal kit to see if it will help.

The problem is having only 3 sections (crossbars) that support the soft fabric. The more crossbars, the less flapping.

Interesting point. I wonder if anyone has ever tried using additional crossbars (like 1x2s) with success?

Mine does the same. I've driven it thousands of miles, sometimes 85mph or so, and it's been fine.

My $180 knock-off soft tri-fold does the same, but it is far more pronounced with crosswinds. This weekend on my AZ roadtrip, one of the knobs that threads on to hold the forward panel actually vibrated all the way off. But it stayed sealed as I went through some rain on my way over the coastal range back to San Diego.
