I did install it myself. The problem with the maverick is that it has no where for the water at the back window to go. Most trucks have a space between the bed and the cab for the water to drain off.Question? Did you install it yourself? The reason I ask, if I buy one outside of Ford and have it installed by a thrird party, I would have them run a water test.
Both the roll up and the hard trifold let water in near the tailgate. I had to use some plumbers putty on each side of the tonneeau to keep out water near the cab where the indentation is in the plastic trimthanks for the reply - my water leak seems like 100x worse than this lol
I wonder if they installed the drain tubes wrong or something?

that's false advertising lolit mounts flush with your truck's bed rails, it stays tightly sealed and keeps water out.
For even better water protection, the R-Series uses a bed rail mounting system equipped with rubber seals and drain tubes that carry water away and out of your truck bed. That makes sure your cargo is always dry and secure. If you're still not satisfied, the R-Series is backed by a 3-year warranty.

Got the tiger try fold ...Little water at side of bed about 1/3 back ...gonna tighten again...no big deal . The cover keeps prying eyes away and looks great...I know it's frustrating but I think these flush fit covers are for looks 1st, waterproof 2nd.
I'd really like a nice looking flush trifold but after hearing about all the leaking issues, drain hose issues and fitment I've decided to go old school. Tyger Auto T3 Soft Tri-fold unless someone want's to warn me about it too.
Try rechecked the screw down clamps in the front corners, and gave them another 1/2 turnI have a Real Truck Tonneau which is leaking like crazy. I’ve owned 2 Tygers on previous trucks and hardly had any leaks. So I’m probably dumping this one and getting another Tyger!
