What products did you use? To detail your plastic interior/exterior? I *need* to know 👍🏻😊
I had to clean more than just the plastics so to give you an idea I will cover a few areas. Mostly time and elbow grease. Example, trunk was stripped. Vacuumed first. Wipe it all down with damp soapy rag and this gets it back to a clean original look. Soak trunk carpet on driveway, spray soap on it, sweep it around with a broom, spay it all off, hang it up to dry. Trunk plastic trim I used Armoral which I already had. Soak it well, let sit, wipe it dry. Only spent 3.5 hours just on the trunk. Get the idea? I logged my time, so far 20.5 Hours.

For spots on seats, I already had some foam cleaner you get at a auto parts store. Spray, brush with stiff brush, wipe dry with clean towel. Repeat. Change towel often so you don't rub dirt into clean area. Glass cleaner is 1/2 alcohol and distilled water. I've used Armoral for years so had that around for the plastic after washing it with soapy rag and drying it. Better stuff exists I'm sure.

Lots of YouTube videos with more specific brands and techniques are out there. My method works for me. I put in the time with much effort, never rush.

disclaimer: this is what I did and use. I don't need posts telling me I did it wrong or should have used xyz products. At 73 years old and owned 106 vehicles I have learned how to drive exceptionally clean cars and motorcycles.

Anyone out there like me, kinda old and worried about the dash and the door inserts on the XLT. I very much remember styrofoam coolers..and man that is what I see. I’m afraid that interior won’t age well! I’m 54 and planning on retiring next year and this should be my last truck for a while. I love the features of the XLT, just seems crazy to by the XL and turn around and dump a bunch of cash into aftermarket cruise, wheels, etc…etc..
I saw someone say the XLT panels looked like Formica Countertops and I couldnt unsee it. I sat in an XL and right then switched from XLT to XL, by far the best interior to me. I added Copilot 360 for electric mirrors. I will see what happens for cruise potentials, but never used it much anyway. Not worth a couple thousand to upgrade to XLT for me.

Oh and I will be swapping out for someones takeoff XLT wheels. There are plenty looking for the steelies because they either like them better or use for winter tires. So you might not be out much for different wheels.

Door card light colored plastic to me looks like aircraft plastics found in commuter jets...so I went with Lariat...they seem a little darker in color...like XL...maybe.

I got my XL because I found one and liked the interior colors more than the XLT, which has orange inserts everywhere and is off putting. The only thing that annoys me on the XL is no cruise control which is so weird. I got my XL with the co-pilot360 so I got electric mirrors. I even like the steel rims on my XL even though I wish the rims where black to match the Shadow black exterior.

I may be wrong, but I'm thinking the OP's use of "aging" is in the context of style, not durability.
