Wireless Phone Charger Has Never Worked

Does anyone know any possible reasons why the wireless phone charger supposedly built into my 2022 Maverick XLT (hybrid) console has never worked? I wirelessly charge my phone on two different wireless chargers in my home, so I know it's not my phone. Also, there is nothing extra between the phone and the thin console pad that came on it from the factory.

Mine will charge but it will keep flashing on the screen that it is charging.

Might not even be in there. Maybe a fuse or have to check it with forscan and activate. Good luck

I didn't think the XLTs could option the wireless charger.

Do you have a thick case on it? Mine worked fine until I got a new case which protrudes beyond the camera lenses. Now it’s hit o miss

Thanks for all the comments, everyone! I'm thinking it was either never installed or else simply never connected. I did try charging the phone without the thin case when we first got the Maverick, but still nothing. (And the phone charges on the other two wireless chargers at home without problem with the case on.)

There reason why it doesn't work is it doesn't have one. In 2022 only the Lariat Luxury package did.

I'm thinking it was an option on the Lariat only. It isn't installed on my 23 XLT lux pac hybrid

Hmm, that's interesting as both the original order and the invoice has the wireless charger on it. I'm thinking now that maybe the factory failed to install it...

Or just not plugged in. Thats happened with some people bed outlets.

I don't know about 'original order' or 'invoice'. It's not in the 2022 order guide and if it's not on the window sticker, it's not in the truck.

Even Ford's bot account doesn't know that the wireless charging pad was a Lariat option for '22 and not available on the XLT.

When you lift the rubber tray out you should see this under it, if there is nothing there it doesn't have wireless charging.
