Is there an objectively good windshield wiper fluid that you would suggest?

What makes it better than the bottom-barrel swill?

On that note, what do you treat the inside and outside of your windows with?

Depends on where you live. I live in a low desert area with mild temperatures so standard wiper fluid is rated for 32 degrees F and higher. Cold areas need the -20 stuff which is unavailable locally. Since I travel into cold areas, I bought a couple gallons of the -20 stuff at a Flying J.

Side note: I took a car from CA to Iowa back in February and changed out the fluid in the reservoir but forgot to flush out what was in the lines. Lines froze up and until I took the car into the dealer for another issue, I had no washer available ☹

Rain-x and I buy a cleaning spray from the local car wash place that is basically 75% alcohol but it cleans the windows great and doesn't leave streaks. I clean my headlights frequently but live in Maine where there is alot of salt on the roads so when it's wet that gets sprayed on them. FYI if you want people to NOT flash their lights cause they think your high beaming them then spray some dirty water on the headlights but I personally like to have them as bright as possible for seeing the random wildlife.... and for the people who flash their lights even though the see them get turned down.... they deserve a little flash haha if they didn't see me turn them down like when I am gonna crest a hill I don't flash back LEDs are bright haha

I like RainX washer fluid. BUT, you can only use it with vehicles that don't have rain sensing wipers. The water beading/repelling action makes rain sensing systems not work correctly.
For inside and outside window cleaning my favorite product is Invisible Glass.

Amazon.com: Invisible Glass 92164 22-Ounce Premium Glass Cleaner and Window Spray for Auto and Home Provides a Streak-Free Shine on Windows, Windshields, and Mirrors is Residue and Ammonia Free and Tint Safe : Automotive
Do you have a particular microfiber towel of choice for windows?

Ah, now you're going to get me started. I used some nice fluffy microfiber towels to dry my car and went ahead and used the same towels to clean the windows. Not so good. The glass was mildly hot and fibers from the towel began sticking to the glass. It was an annoying mess, but I finally got it cleaned up. At this point I've given up and resigned myself to burning through a roll of paper towels when I do the windows. Surprisingly, paper towels and Invisible Glass has gotten me the best results, no streaks, no lint.

Pretty good demo of some recommended window cleaning products.

Wahtever you choose to roll with, do not use an ammonia-based cleaner.
I like Pan's reviews and suggestions.

You know what I just realized? I don't think we get rain sensing wipers in the Maverick. For some reason I thought we did but I guess not.

I've been treating my exterior finish with an all natural coating. Downside - it can appear uneven depending on where you park...but its free at least!
