Wiper blade delay feels too long?

Ever since day 1 I’ve felt like the delay from initiating the wiper fluid spray to when it starts the first wipe is way too long. To the point where I feel blind for far too long when I initially start the spray. Is this just me?

No idea what the delay time is on yours, mine seems fine to me. Unless I get splashed on the road I only use the washer when at a stand still.

I haven't noticed. I usually do that when I'm stopped, so not a visibility issue.

Maybe it's to be sure the windshield is wet, so as not do dry-wipe & scratch it.

Changing the "Courtesy Wipe" setting may affect it, but I haven't messed with it. It has something to do with using the washer feature.

Here’s 2 solutions
1-turn on wipers first, then the squirt
2-clean windshield before starting trip

I tested mine after reading your post and do not experience the same thing. Mine is similar to any other vehicle I have had and seems just right.

You didn't mention how long was the delay........how long was your delay? If it's something like 5+ seconds then maybe it's a problem.

I actually don't like it and wish it didn't wipe when you spray. It's helps on icy windshield, the fluid will help de-ice while wiping it on ice destroys it immediately.
