Windshield issue - see photo

It was bought new and the dealership applied a $799 ceramic protection pkg. I have tried all of the suggestions except lacquer thinner and the Mirror Glaze Plastic Polish. It has been raining every day so took a break. Had a fellow Maverick owner visiting from SC look at it today. It doesn’t show from the inside so not creating any safety issue. I am going to take it to a different Ford dealer than the one I bought it from for their opinion. Will update when that is done but tied up with appts tomorrow.

Seems to me that this is definitely a dealer/Ford issue.

That probably explains it right there. They may have done one of those spray on ones, and didn’t cover the windows before doing so. The wipers are ‘smoothing out’ the ceramic.

Going to need something ‘abrasive’ to remove the ceramic on the non-wiper area. Glass polish with an orbital is most likely your best bet.

Precisely - that’s what I accused them of and of course they denied. Then said go to body shop and file claim against protection program and it excludes glass.

Anything and everything sold by/installed by a dealer on a new car is a scam.
